Cook it remains open - What a your preventative measures for COVID-19 ?

Following the most recent developments concerning COVID-19, I would like to share with you the measures that we have deployed internally to ensure the safety of our customers and our employees. At the outset, we would like to mention that the health and safety of our customers and employees is a priority for us and we are determined to make every effort to limit the spread of the virus. We have formed an internal special committee with senior management and our health and safety officer to analyze and implement the appropriate measures and we will continue to monitor developments.

First, we want to reassure our customers that food is not a source or route of transmission of the virus.

Consequently, we intend to continue our operations with the objective of continuing to simplify the life of our customers who will be able to continue to receive, in the comfort of the house, all the ingredients required for the preparation of meals. We have been in constant contact with our suppliers for the past few days and there is no supply issue at this stage when the majority of our products come from local partners.

In addition, we have implemented a series of measures to reduce the risk of our employees being infected with the virus. We have instituted a policy of teleworking for all employees for whom it is possible and all employees who have recently returned or who are soon to return from a trip abroad must be quarantined for a period of 14 days. For employees of our production space for whom teleworking is not possible, taking the temperature is mandatory when arriving at the production space before each shift. In addition, we have increased the distance between workstations and employees. In terms of hygiene rules, we operate in the food sector, so they are extremely strict and reduce the risk of contamination.

In closing, we have given instructions to our partner companies who ensure delivery to suspend the signing process when applicable to reduce the potential risk of contamination.

We are committed to being proactive, transparent and providing our subscribers, in these difficult times, with an exceptional delivery experience that you can trust. We are continuing to monitor the situation and the recommendations of the public health authorities and will keep you informed of developments, if necessary.

If you have any ideas or comments on how we can support you during this time, please share them with us.
